Walking Tour - Secrets of the London Underground

Join us on this small group walking tour to discover the secrets behind the world’s first underground railway. See the exterior of disused stations such as Down Street through which Churchill would travel during the Blitz. Here the emotional story of the ‘Mind the Gap’ widow, the spark behind The Tube map and glimpse of ‘ghost’ platforms shut off from the world. From the beauty of the world clock in Piccadilly to the modern day, this tour has something for everyone. 

After your tour why not extend your day with a visit to London’s interactive Transport Museum in the heart of Covent Garden?

Baker Street Station: Your tour starts at 1:00pm at Baker Street Station, Marylebone Road, London, UK (Please meet the guide by the Sherlock Holmes statue outside Baker Street station). 

*Please be at the meeting point at 12:45 pm as we are unfortunately unable to wait for late comers and there is no opportunity to join the tour at a later time.

Westminster Underground Station: Your tour will finish at approximately 3:00 pm at Westminster Underground Station. the station is between St James's Park and Embankment.
