Day Coach Tour - Downton Abbey - Oxford, Bampton & Highclere Castle

Visit Oxford and top 'Downton Abbey' filming locations on this day trip from London.

Start the day with a walking tour of Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires, boasts one of the world’s greatest and oldest universities, as well as some of the finest architecture in Europe. Admire the highlights of its many colleges, with their ivy-clad stone walls protecting beautiful chapels, halls, and libraries.

You will continue your day by visiting the beautiful village of Bampton which was the setting for outdoor village scenes in the ITV series Downton Abbey. Visit the Church, Mathew Crawley's mother's house, the hospital and more. The village itself is quintessentially British and one of Britain's hidden treasures.

Then, you'll head to Highclere Castle, the county seat of Carvanon. The tour of the castle's public rooms includes the magnificent main hall, library, drawing rooms and other rooms featured in Downton Abbey.

At the end of the tour, you will also receive a special copy of one of Lady Carnarvon's books. This is a fascinating read and a unique souvenir of the day.

✨ MEETING POINT 

Victoria Coach Station: Your Tour will start at 8:15am (boarding starts at 8:00 am) from  Victoria Coach Station. It is at 10-15 minute walk from London Victoria Station and Victoria Underground Station, and the meeting point is located in-front of Gates 19 and 20. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time for boarding

Victoria Underground Station: Your Tour will finish outside Victoria Underground Station at approx. 7:00 pm.
